This is my place for poetry. I have been writing poetry and songs since I was 15 - it all starts with that teenage angst! I hope there are some words in here that say something to you or at least leave an impression.

Poem of the moment!

Ode to us, you & Them

Like a storm
Hell bent on destruction
The mind rages
Within itself
Playing subtle yet
Consuming games
So confusing…
But it all makes sense
The answers lay waiting…
So near
Yet so far away
What will it be?
Do you hear the distant voices calling?
What do they mean?
The answers lay waiting…
We’re told to think for ourselves
Then slowly brainwashed…
Beaten into submission
Like mindless animals
Who can you trust?
Who can you believe?
Everyone says they’re right
You are wrong!
Are you?
The answers lay waiting…
Look beyond the walls
Of societal trappings
There is something real
There is something good
Will you find it?
The answers lay waiting…

Assorted Rhyme Without Reason	For something a little darker and a little more strange... check out my assorted Rhyme Without Reason. This is a series of short, Haiku-ish poems I wrote back in 1994. This is, as far as I know a unique and until now, a non-existent poetry format. I doubt it will change the world, but it may make you think a minute!
